Bass Studio Architects provided a complete array of services, including architectural and interior design, food service planning, zoning-parking variance administration, and site design services for the 4,048-square-foot restaurant.
BSA delivered this prototype restaurant on an extremely tight budget. The challenge was met through creative use of basic materials, custom design of lighting fixtures with inexpensive products, and a minimalist interpretation of the client’s aesthetic input.
When it became apparent that the tight site and parking requirements would be a challenge to reconcile, BSA worked with city officials to achieve a variance in the popular urban district of Hyde Park in order to complete the project.
