BSA was engaged to assist the University District Organization in the analysis and preparation of a cohesive strategy for the development of High Street from Fifth Avenue to Arcadia (University District).

BSA provided field analysis, textual and graphic exhibits, and consultation on the editing of the University Area Commision draft of the “High Street — University District Development and Design Guidelines.”

Undertaken by the organization concurrent with the Campus Partners efforts, the analysis and recommendations sought to balance preservation of historic structures and urban fabric with the potential of adaptive reuse.
